KITCHENS+BATHROOMS
Farleys Kitchens
Farleys’ designers recently attended the National
Kitchens and Bathrooms Exhibition at the NEC.
They looked at alternative manufacturers and, of
course, also went to keep up to date with the
latest designs, trends and innovations. John
Farley says: “The results of this visit were mixed.
Firstly, it confirmed our belief that Schmidt is still
by far the best kitchen product available for quality
of build, versatility and overall range of product
choices. The added advantage that they offer up
to a 30% volume advantage on the capacity of
many of our competitors, coupled with the variable
heights for both base and wall units, the almost
infinite variation in unit widths, including drawer
units, means we can continue to design and
install an impressive range of kitchens. We can
go from the easy-to-use disabled kitchen through
the classic refurbishment to the ultra modern 'in
your face' centre of your lifestyle kitchen living
room.”
Farleys’ staff agreed the most disappointing
aspect of the NEC was the overall blandness of
the majority of the displays. The designers all
seemed to be following the same, 'this year's
look'. At Farleys Kitchens, they offer true design
flair to make your kitchen an individual concept
to best suit both your needs and your aspirations.
Once a design has been agreed to match your
dreams and needs, they can then offer the
pragmatism to make it work, through their own
team of fitters and project managers.
Over the years, Farleys has designed and installed
kitchens in price ranges from £8,000 to £60,000,
dependant not only on the means of the customer
but their requirements. It is not in their interest
to 'oversell' the project \
