oldest such museums in the country. It was
established in 1970, and since then has grown
to incorporate a number of rare aircraft and
memorabilia. The museum is dedicated to
preserving as many planes as it can find, and so

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation
Located just outside of Headcorn itself is The
Wildlife Heritage Foundation. The site holds regular
open days throughout the year (which are fun
events that include face painting, barbecues, arts

and more), as well as plenty of opportunities to
get up close and personal with the big cats,
including photography workshops, ranger for a
day experiences, and the chance to adopt an
animal.
The George & Dragon Inn
The George & Dragon Inn, right on Headcorn’s
high street, is a friendly, welcoming, family-friendly
pub and restaurant at the heart of the village.
