It’s never too early to start planning that Valentine’s Day experience – so
why not take your loved one on a romantic journey?
The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is hosting a special
Valentine’s Evening Dinner, where guests will take on an exclusive non-stop
trip on its world famous steam locomotive before enjoying a three-course
romantic supper.
The Valentine’s train leaves Hythe station at 5.55pm travelling via
Dungeness to New Romney, then it’s back to Hythe for an 8pm arrival. Why
not reserve a seat in ‘Gladys’ – the bar car, or another distinctive heritage
carriage for the journey?
A warm welcome awaits in the Vintage Tea Room with a glass of
sparkling wine or orange juice before the railway catering team serve up a
delicious selection of meals including exclusive homemade options. A final
diesel hauled train will depart at 10pm to return guests who boarded at
New Romney Station.
Tickets are £44 per person and booking is essential. Call 01797
