Adam Ant at Create 2015 annual events top spot Ashford Create Music Festival // July The Create Music Festival is one of the biggest free music festivals in Kent. It is Ashford's most popular and established annual music event attracting over 13,000 people throughout the day. Local acts perform alongside regional and national headline acts across many stages, and there is also street theatre, market stalls, food and drink areas, and children's rides. Apple Fair // October The annual apple fair at Perry Court Farm boasts over 200 different varieties of apples. But it’s more than apples; there are country crafts, tastings, an apple pie competition, Morris dancers, vintage engines, shire horses, refreshments and much more! Christmas Market // December Come and shop at the festive market for a wide selection of quality gifts, cards, games and decorations. The event was born out of a desire to celebrate the Christmas spirit in Ashford whilst browsing around the bustling stalls and soaking up the unique atmosphere beneath the twinkling lights in Church Road. Here you can find handmade crafts including seasonal decorations, cards, bags, jewellery, textiles and accessories, available at affordable prices. Hot food and drinks are provided by local groups. It is a music and arts venue delivered by the St Mary's Arts Trust, and is renowned for being a centre of excellence for the arts.
