Welcome letter from Principal:
It gives me great pleasure to be welcoming you to Dover Christ
Church Academy. The Academy is designed to provide an exciting
and aspirational learning environment for young people of all abilities
between the ages of 11 and 19.
Research-driven and based on successful practice in outstanding
academies and schools across the country, the Academy will provide
a learning experience in Key Stage Three which focuses on developing
the key learning skills on which success can be later built.
During the middle part of their time and when they are ready
to progress, all students will be given the opportunity to try a range
of learning experiences and courses on which they can base their
choices in Years 10 and 11. We offer a range of both practical and
academic courses, whilst still focusing on developing every child's
abilities in the core skills of English and Mathematics.
In Years 10 and 11, a similar but wider range of courses and
opportunities will be offered, either on site or off site with our partner
organisations.
