With hearty burgers, juicy hot dogs, a range of indulgent sides, shakes and cakes all homemade on-site, Big Boys makes honest, fresh and delicious food from quality ingredients. The Big Boys' story started in 2014, when brothers Gareth Attwell and Guy Meurice opened as a weekly pop up in Hythe. But the brothers' dream was to open their own restaurant, and they jumped at the opportunity to bring their popular gourmet burgers to Folkestone's Creative Quarter. The boys recently reached the final of the prestigious National Burger Awards, and are gearing up for a busy summer season. Chef, Gareth, built his career in fine dining before opening Big Boys. Having worked with some of the UK's top chefs, Gareth has devoted his skills and experience to creating the perfect burger. “The menu may be different but the principles 59 are the same; we work hard to put together interesting flavours, using the best quality ingredients we can find.
