DAYSOUT
a fun day out at
Kent Life
Set in 28 acres of glorious countryside, Kent Life is the county’s premier rural heritage experience. Explore
the beautiful gardens, orchard, and one of the last handpicked hop gardens in the country; ramble along
the wildlife discovery trail; and see the last working coal-fired oast house in Britain.
The attraction is also a real working farm, so there
are plenty of animals to see, including pigs, sheep,
ducks, goats, alpacas, horses and ponies. And
with large indoor play areas to explore, Kent Life
offers a fun-packed day whatever the weather.
From birds of prey and farm animals to
games and tractor rides, there’s plenty to entertain
the whole family this summer at the Kent Life
Heritage Farm Park Country Fair on 13th and
14th June.
The award-winning rural attraction, near
Maids tone, will be celebrating Kentish traditions
with vintage games, including hook-a-duck, threelegged races and knobbly knee competitions, as
well as have-a-go archery and face painting.
Enjoy a thrilling falconry display, take a tour around
the vintage farmhouses and meet the characters
inside, watch the blacksmith at work in his forge,
and marvel at the old-fashioned steam organ.
Mum and dad can even give tractor driving a go!
You can also check out the local produce
and craft stalls, tuck in to a tasty barbecue, or
relax with a refreshing drink in the small beer tent.
Be sure to visit Dotty’s tearoom for good
food and homemade cakes, and the gift shop to
pick up some Kent Life produce.
