If you get tickets to one London exhibition this spring, make it this. From
14th March to 2nd August 2015, the prestigious V&A presents the only

Lee Alexander McQueen. One of the most innovative designers of his
generation, McQueen was celebrated for his extraordinary creative talent.
He combined a profound grasp of tailoring and eclectic range of influences

Now in its eighth year, The Design Museum is celebrating the launch of its
aptly named Designs of the Year exhibition this spring, which will run from
25th March to 23rd August 2015.
Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) was a key
figure in the Parisian avant-garde, whose
vivid and colourful work spanned
painting, fashion and design. And this
spring, from 15th April to 9th August
2015, Tate Modern will present the
first UK retrospective to assess the
breadth of her vibrant artistic career,
from her early figurative painting in the
1900s to her energetic abstract work
in the 1960s.
This exhibition will offer a radical reassessment of Delaunay’s importance
as an artist, from her originality and creativity across the 20th century, to
her later becoming a champion for a new generation of artists and an
inspiring figure for creative practitioners to this day.
Boasting 76 nominations over six categories including fashion, architecture,
digital, graphics, product, and transport, the five-month-long expo honours
innovative design that 'promotes or delivers change, enables access,
extends practice or captures the spirit of the year'. More so, it represents
