Folkestone sixth form college, Earlscliffe, ranked
no. 38 out of The Telegraph's top 100 A-level schools
Earlscliffe, an independent, small sixth form
college based in Folkestone is delighted at being
ranked by The Telegraph at number 38 in England
out of all 4,303 schools, both state and private,

annual rankings on 29th January 2015. Director,
Tim Fish, says: "We are absolutely delighted with

(academic monitoring), and small teaching groups

highlights any shortfalls in knowledge, and
subsequently provides a safety net of academic
support through 1:1 coaching. Extra-curricular
enrichment includes a Sports, Culture and Service
(SCS) programme, in which all students are
involved. The range of activities on offer is

ambassadors visiting the UN in New York City
each March to the weekly orators meeting at
Public Speaking Society.

Students progress to the UK’s top universities
and beyond, with last year’s top A-level student
awarded a full scholarship at Stanford University,
USA. The college’s director, Tim Fish, provides
all of the UCAS counselling and sets the students
on academically aspirational pathways from their
very first week at the college, when all new
