For those moments when London is a-calling, plan your time in the capital well and visit One
Aldwych. Whether you are looking for a romantic meal for two, a light lunch whilst sightseeing,
or some impressively inventive cocktails, this award-winning five-star boutique hotel has it all.
The Lobby Bar is where you'll find the hotel's
award-winning mixologists, shaking, stirring, and
creating the most decadent and exciting cocktails
around. With names such as Queen of Hearts,
Drink Me, Valentino Red, and Iron Lady, the
cocktail menu sounds as appetising as the drinks
taste. Bar food is available too (between 11am
and 11pm) and includes smoked haddock and
leek croquettes, pulled Suffolk pork in a brioche
bun, and heritage tomato tart – not your average
set of bar snacks.
Residing in the heart of London’s most intriguing
and popular nightspot, Covent Garden, the Lobby
Bar not only boasts a prime location, but its
double-height ceilings and contemporary
sculptures have seen it renowned as one of the
best hotel lobby bars in the world.
One Aldwych's informal restaurant, Indigo, is
ideal for pre- and post-theatre dinners, especially
as it is within walking distance of 20 theatres.
Enjoy a fixed price menu of either two or three
courses, which includes dishes such as pressed
ham hock terrine, confit duck leg with white
beans and smoked sausage, and winter fruit
crumble. In addition to the fixed price option,
diners can choose from the à la carte menu, plus
there is a children’s menu for the little ones.
Breakfast is served at Indigo as well, so if you
are in London for the day, staying overnight (or
just staying up late!) you can enjoy a sumptuous,
award-winning organic breakfast here too.

Axis at One Aldwych is a very special kind of
restaurant. Not only is the interior decorated to
the highest standard, making this a relaxing and
stylish dining experience, but the food is
impeccable, and executive chef, Dominic Teague,
has designed some superb flavour combinations
