nippy, comfortable, and predictably responsive,
this fabulous little car was clearly at home in a
town environment. A quick three-point turn
outside of the Grand Garage, made all the easier
by great all-round visibility and the 108's excellent
reversing cameras, and I was off into Margate's
great unknown...
Further up the coast and out of town, the roads
began to narrow and wind, but the 108 seemed
equally happy on these. Its steering is accurate,
and thanks to the famous Peugeot suspension,
the ride is really smooth, often creating the
impression of a much larger car.
In addition, I have to mention the sunroof. A quick
press of the roof button, and I was enjoying a
vast expanse of blue sky and sunshine above –
something that brightened up my day an
