MOTORS FORD KUGA 2.0 TDCi 163 Titanium LIFE IS FULL OF ADVENTURES. THE TYPES OF ADVENTURES YOU WILL ENCOUNTER MIGHT CHANGE AS YOU GET OLDER, BUT THEY ARE STILL AS AMAZING AND EXCITING AS THE ONES YOU HAD WHEN YOU WERE EIGHT, 18, OR 28 YEARS OLD. IT IS JUST THAT AT SOME STAGE, TO PARAPHRASE THE CHAP IN JAWS WHO ISN'T EATEN, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER CAR... W O R D S A N D The compact SUV is a relatively new creation by motoring manufacturers, designed to cater for people that are enjoying all sorts of adventures, which often involve smaller, younger additions to their family. Essentially, I would define the compact SUV as a model that boasts the space and performance of a big car, yet drives like a normal-sized car. The second incarnation of the Ford Kuga fits this description superbly. Following on from the very palpable hit of the original, it is larger than its 119 P H O T O S B Y L U K E Y A T E S former self at over 4.5 metres long, taking it into a new class of car and giving it scope for a completely new customer base. The increase in size also makes it more attractive to the US market, which traditionally needs cars that will measure up (literally) to the somewhat more vast landscapes they are required to traverse.
