Our base for the weekend was the fantastically
located Doubletree by Hilton Leeds. Just a stone’s
throw from the station, the well-positioned hotel
sits canal side in the heart of Granary Wharf.
With its unique cobbled bridges and original
working locks on the waterways, this impressive
development has harnessed the wonderful
architecture of the canal – its bridges, locks and
tunnels – to offer hotels, restaurants and
apartments with stunning views, picturesque
dining, and elegant drinking opportunities. There
is also the added benefit of the complex being
just a few minutes' walk from the city centre.
Our contemporary eighth-floor bedroom was
compact but perfectly formed, boasting a modern
stylish bathroom, iMac TV and computer, plus
unrivalled views of the wharf, city, and beyond.
