There are a number of organised events across Kent to celebrate Bonfire Night (also known as Guy Fawkes Night) on or around 5th November this year. Here is a list of just some of them. Where: Leeds Castle, Maidstone When: 8th-9th November 2014 What: Leeds Castle is hosting a Go Wild Fireworks Spectacular this year. Themed around the animal kingdom, the South East’s biggest firework display is a pyrotechnic extravaganza incorporating music and movement through the two consecutive nights. How to book: www.leeds-castle.com Where: Museum of Kent Life, Maidstone When: 8th November 2014 What: The Museum of Kent Life’ annual fireworks s display is always a fantastic day out. Festivities start at 3pm and go on until 9pm, and include face painting, zorbing, fire breathing, fairground rides, and a spooktacular display that starts at 7.45pm. How to book: www.kentlife.org.uk Where: Quex Park, Birchington When: 1st November 2014 What: Quex Park in Birchington has been organising fantastic displays for seven years now, and each one builds on the fun of the last. This year, there will be a fun fair to enjoy, along with jugglers, stilt walkers, and magicians. If you are looking for some unique crafts and gifts, there is even a market to browse as you wait for the main event. How to book: www.quexpark.co.uk Where: The Hop Farm, Paddock Wood When: 31st October – 1st November 2014 What: The Hop Farm is planning two different themed nights for its fireworks display this year. On 31st October, there will be a Hallowe’en inspired theme, and on 1st November, it is Best of British. Both nights include pyrotechnic displays in time with toe-tapping music. Everything kicks off at 5pm on 31st October and 6pm on 1st November, and finishes at 11pm on both nights. The rest of The Hop Farm is open to all those with tickets, so make a night of it. How to book: www.thehopfarm.co.uk Where: Danson Park, Bexleyheath When: 1st November 2014 What: The fireworks display at Danson Park is a massive event, which offers up a magnificent spectacular choreographed carefully with music.
