Daredevils looking for lots of fun can rally their friends, family and colleagues for this exciting event. Held at Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells, chYps is reviving the classic TV challenge programme to raise vital funding for end of life, cancer and respite care for poorly children in West Kent. While parents tackle obstacles, props, water and bubbles against other daring do-gooders, children can enjoy many fun activities in the park. 11am-4pm. Price: £15 per person. Dunorlan Park, Pembury Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells TN2 3QN Supported by the University of Kent's History Department, sixth form students from Simon Langton Boys and Girls Schools in Canterbury have studied archives and records at the Beaney, Canterbury Cathedral, and Canterbury Heritage Museum, to research for themselves what life was like for Canterbury residents during the First World War. Artist and curator, Patricia Wilson Smith, worked closely with the students to curate this centenary exhibition, which traces the course of the 'War to end all Wars'.
