EDUCATION The Orchard Girls' House Cross Country Winners 2014 Wellesley House School The academic year at Wellesley House School began with strong intake of new pupils, matching its highest in recent years. This full-boarding prep school is now operating a waiting list for the ever-popular girls’ boarding house, The Orchard. In total, 15 pupils gained at least eight A*/A grades, with top performers Rudy Hagemichael and Ben Spencer gaining ten A* grades each. Principal, Antony Spencer, commented: “This is a large and talented year group enjoying great success across the whole range of school life, not least academically. Our top 25% academically Rudy Hagemichael and achieved a Ben Spencer celebrate excellent remarkable 88% GCSE results A*/A grades, which they have achieved whilst being busy with many co-curricular opportunities including music, sport and drama, all of which play a part in preparing them for future success in life.” Pupils also celebrated another bumper set of exam results at A-Level, leading to many pupils going to their first choice of university to study courses including Medicine, Music, Law and Business Economics.
