A spectacular firework display sponsored by the Roger De Haan
Charitable Trust will launch the festivities on the evening of
August 23rd, together with the formal lighting of our beacon
with Sandgate’s 95th rifles in attendance.
Sunday August 24th promises to be a really busy day commencing at 11am
with numerous stalls catering for all ages, stilt walkers, Punch & Judy,
Folkestone Party Mascots, circus workshops, live music and much more.
Throughout the day the 95th riflemen and soldiers of King George’s army
will be demonstrating life in the 1800s as experienced at Sandgate and
