At last in Bromley!
A new wine bar and live music venue
opened in East Street Bromley on
Friday 20th June 2014.
Bar du Vin is situated
in the newly semi-pedestrianised
East Street, part of Bromley North
Village where Bromley Council and
the Mayor of London have spent
£5.2m to create a French-themed
café / continental dining area. All of
the restaurants and bars have been
encouraged to have fold-back
shopfronts with outside dining areas
on the pavement.
Bar du Vin has now completed the
conversion and fitting out of their
new premises which features a large
American-style Island Bar aimed at
single persons who will feel
comfortable dining alone. There are
five raised bay seating consoles for
parties of up to eight persons and
a stage which doubles up as a VIP
lounge.
Live music will be featured every
Thursday evening. Fridays and
Saturdays will host top name DJs
from 9pm until midnight.
Entry to Bar du Vin is entirely free
at all times. There is an extensive
selection of good quality but
inexpensive wines together with
beers and spirits. The food menu,
available at all times, comprises of
pizzas, crepes and canapés, all
prepared from gluten-free
buckwheat. The pizzas have
generous toppings including
smoked salmon with rocket, Cajun
chicken with prawns, Chinese duck
with hoisin sauce, mixed wild
mushrooms and many more.
