CHEGWORTH VALLEY LAUNCHES BOX SCHEME AND HOME DELIVERY
Although perhaps best known for growing apples
and pears, over recent years the farm has
diversified and now grows a wide range of soft
fruit, vegetables and salads – all of which will be
included in the scheme, along with fruit and
vegetables from specially selected organic farms.
A new organic box scheme offering next day
delivery throughout Kent and London has been
launched by Chegworth Valley. The farm, which
is situated just outside Harrietsham in Kent, is
certified Organic by the Soil Association and will
be offering vegetable and fruit boxes, with the
option to add in additional produce or pick your
own box.
Also available via the website will be Chegworth
Valley’s award-winning range of juices, as well
as homemade jams and chutneys from the
Chegworth Kitchen, and a variety of whole foods.
Although the scheme will work in the conventional
way, by offering a range of boxes with the
contents updated weekly, there will not be set
ordering or delivery days, meaning that customers
are able to order on a day that suits them and
receive their order the following day.
“We wanted to start home delivery but knew that
we needed to offer something a bit different. We
looked at the way in which box schemes
