get great results from new
treatment for haemorrhoids
‘MY TREATMENT HAS WORKED BRILLIANTLY’
Don't suffer in silence
Piles from pregnancy can be treated
People have come from all over the British Isles
to Canterbury to get a new treatment for
haemorrhoids. Dr Mark Hudson-Peacock
introduced the treatment to the UK last year, and
is currently the only doctor in Europe who is fully
trained to carry out this procedure; but he is
working with other doctors who are currently
undergoing their initial training for Ultroid
treatments.
Ann from Yorkshire wrote: “Just a line to thank
Dr Hudson-Peacock for my treatment, which has
worked brilliantly. I came out of the clinic and
went sightseeing and shopping and have been
fine ever since. I cannot speak highly enough of
this quick and painless procedure and am
spreading the word far and wide. My GP is very
impressed and interested in finding out more
and I am sure that in the not too distant future
we will have some clinics up here. Meanwhile, if
I have any more problems I will not hesitate to
come back. Once again Doctor, thank you (and
your staff) for your kindness.”
Haemorrhoids can result from genetic
susceptibility, pregnancy, heavy lifting, or
professional driving. Age and diet can also be
factors. It is a very common condition and, for
some, there is no apparent reason. Whatever
the reason, Dr Hudson-Peacock says, “Don’t
suffer in silence!”
Smaller piles may not cause much discomfort
today but, if they are not treated, they can grow
and become a major problem. Mr Pradeep
Basnyat, a leading Kent colorectal surgeon,
approves of the Ultroid treatment. He advises:
“If Ultroid was used in the earliest stages of the
symptomatic haemorrhoidal disease, which are
traditionally treated conservatively with
various creams and dietary advice, this may
prevent haemorrhoids from getting to the stages
where surgery might otherwise be considered
a treatment option.”
Tony from Kent emailed: “So far, I am very happy
with the outcome of my Ultroid procedure. It is
only two days since I visited the clinic but I am
already convinced of the benefits of the procedure
and experiencing a very considerable
improvement in my symptoms. The discomfort
I was experiencing previously is already greatly
reduced and, if I understand it correctly, can be
expected to improve further in the coming days
and weeks. As promised, the procedure itself
was no more than a little uncomfortable and not
at all painful. I was able also to go about everything
in my day to day life as normal immediately upon
leaving the clinic. All in all a very satisfying outcome
– thank you.”
“No knives and no needles,” says Dr HudsonPeacock. “It is the only treatment which can be
used on all four grades of piles. The treatment is
performed in the privacy of a clinic. There is no
need for anaesthesia, surgery or hospital visits.
Other methods of treatment are frequently painful
and can be followed by complications such as
infection and scarring. With the Ultroid treatment,
there are no complications and you can return
to work right after the procedure. Most people
experience immediate relief, with further
improvement over the next 7-10 days.”

While the Ultroid treatment is new to the UK, it
has been tried and tested in the US for years.
The Ultroid System works by delivering a very
low direct electrical current to the base of the
haemorrhoid, causing a reaction that shrinks it.
The treatment takes only about 15-30 minutes
following a consultation. Dr Hudson-Peacock is
offering the Ultroid treatment at his clinic in
Canterbury, which is CQC-approved for this
treatment to be carried out.
