••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• welcome March is a strange month - not quite winter, not quite spring. Should we plan a picnic or a cosy meal by the fire? I snapped this photo from my car in mid-February - a freezing cold morning, topped off with rain, hail and more rain; but these brave little daffodils decided to poke their heads out, desperately hoping for some sunshine. Sounds like most of us when March rolls around; this year more than ever with the relentless rain and flooding that has affected so many people in Kent. As I write this, the sun is trying to peek through the clouds, and there’s no major rain in the forecast. Fingers (and toes) crossed the worst is over. Though we might not be able to unpack our summer clothes yet, don’t fret! Spring is a-comin’, and it will be that much more lovely when the sun starts to show its face more often than not. To tide you over until spring, this issue is filled with lots of fabulous features. Some of my favourites include a Kaleidoscope of Colour (p122), health tips from Jessie Pavelka (p90), our special 25-page education feature (p32) and of course our cover story: Filmed in
