Whilst buying meat online was certainly not in the thoughts of Joseph Christmas Rook back in 1965 , it is testament to the visionary and passionate family and staff team , who worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic , that Rooksonline today is more than just a butchers ; offering over 400 products including Kentish cheese , Biddenden juices , Solleys Ice Cream and their own freshly baked sausage rolls , burger puffs and apple turnovers ; all delivered throughout the UK and all with the same commitment to provenance .
With Christmas just around the corner , Rooks are busy preparing to help customers feed their families this festive season . They will soon be launching their Christmas brochure showcasing all of their delicious festive fayre on offer this year . They are again working with Appledore Turkeys to supply local Kentish turkeys and geese to their customers .
Due to the current situation the country finds itself in , Rooks want to ensure that everyone is able to shop stress-free this Christmas , so they will be increasing the number of home delivery slots to ensure that all customers , even those unable to visit their local store , are still able to enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings .
