EDUCATION
THE KEY TO YOUR FUTURE
AT KENT COLLEGE, CANTERBURY
REALISING THE POTENTIAL WITHIN YOUNG PEOPLE IS SOMETHING THAT IS
INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT AT KENT COLLEGE.
SUCCEED WITH A KC SCHOLARSHIP
Since its foundation, the school has always excelled
in the academic, musical and sporting spheres. We
believe passionately that the development of
individual talents unlocks student potential, and the
deeper development of these skills enables students
to develop the qualities that will stand them in good
stead for the rest of their lives.
Our scholarship program allows us to nurture those
who already have talents in particular areas.
Becoming a scholar brings with it a responsibility to
work hard in order to make the absolute most of
what you have been given. Scholarships are a valuable
way of developing positive qualities in young people
through the building of expertise. These qualities
include competence, confidence and creativity. The
result is character and connection, reflecting positive
bonds with others and resulting in successful
relationships within the school, family and
community.
Scholarships are available for entrants in Year 7 (age
11+), Year 9 (age 13+) or Year 12 (age16+) in the
following areas: academic, art, design, drama, music,
and sport as well as for the International
Baccalaureate course within the sixth form
BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES
The opportunities that Kent College affords its
students are special and it is absolutely right that we
make that accessible to as many people as we can.
The idea of doing all the good that you can by
helping everyone that you can is something that is
interwoven into the history of the school. We have
a system of bursary support based around means
testing, which parents may apply for in order to give
their sons and daughters the chance to come to KC.
So whether your child dreams of being an England
hockey player or performing with the London
Philharmonic Orchestra, Kent College can help to
provide the key to their future.
We are now accepting applications for September
2021 entry, so if you feel your child would benefit
from the challenge and wrap around support we
provide at KC then a scholarship or bursary could
be the perfect opportunity to develop and nurture
their talent.
