KENT ORGANISATIONS
SET TO BOLSTER
THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Produced in Kent and Visit Kent have combined forces to bolster the hospitality
industry with a new Support Your Local campaign. The initiative, which
aims to include a county-wide community appeal and marketing campaign
running until the end of the year, is designed to support businesses as they
come out of lockdown, focussing on the county’s food and drink sector.
SHEPHERD NEAME COASTGUARD,
ST MARGARET’S BAY
The initiative, which has been supported with private financial support and
match funding from Kent County Council, will encourage customers to show
their love for their favourite Kent food and drink businesses - and show their
care for fellow diners too! Providing a much-needed boost to Kent’s £2.6
billion visitor economy, which has been badly hit since the pandemic.
Those wishing to support the campaign can make a Caring Customer Pledge
to Kent’s local restaurants, pubs, cafes and hotels when they open. In doing
so, patrons will be pledging their commitment to Respect, Protect and Enjoy
establishments as each one adapts to post-lockdown circumstances. Caring
Customers can proudly display the #CaringCustomer badge on their social
media and are actively encouraged to share their experiences on social media
and leave online reviews, using the Caring Customer hashtag.
Further details about taking part in the Caring Customer Pledge, as well as
an interactive map showing local suppliers and other useful information
associated with the Support Your Local scheme, can be found on the
HelpKentBuyLocal.co.uk website.

A LITTLE BIT LAUNCH
NEW FRESH HERB VEGAN MAYOS
A Little Bit Food Co have launched
a new range of three Vegan Mayos;
Mixed Herb Vegan Mayo, Lemon &
Herb Vegan Mayo and Roasted
Garlic & Herb Vegan Mayo.
The new mayos join the company’s
existing range of dips, dressings and
sauces, all of which are made using
fresh herbs to create delicious
condiments which are naturally full
of flavour.
Responding to the growing demand
for high quality plant based and vegan
food products, the mayos have been
introduced to offer an extension to
the range that not only taste great,
but also align with A Little Bit’s
existing products, all of which are
vegan-friendly and made with no
colours, flavours or additives.
Not your normal mayo, A Little Bit’s
Vegan Mayos are made using cold
pressed rapeseed oil which is blended
with fresh herbs to create an egg-free
alternative which tastes exactly as it
should. Perfect as a dip, dolloped on
a vegan burger, swirled through pasta
as well as with all sorts of other dishes.
Laura Bounds, owner, commented
“We are very excited to be introducing
three new vegan mayos to our range,
which are not only ideal for the vegan
market but also are intended to be
enjoyed by those who are simply
looking for a great tasting
mayonnaise.”
Also recently launched is A Little Bit’s
Fresh Thyme & Roasted Pepper
Ketchup, which along with the vegan
mayos and rest of the range is available
