The Barnyard
The BarnYard’s licensed restaurant and bar is
situated across two areas within a beautiful
oak-beamed, fairy-lit barn with steps leading
down to our large rustic patio where you can,
in nicer weather, dine alfresco while listening
to the sounds of water cascading from our
gorgeous copper tree fountain.
We are open seven days a week serving a full
range of freshly cooked breakfasts, hearty three-
course lunches and light snacks and afternoon
tea. On Sundays, we offer a superb Sunday roast
dinner with Yorkshire puddings to die for.
Our talented chefs celebrate local and seasonal
produce and are proud to source the very best in
Kentish ingredients wherever possible, a theme
that runs throughout our seasonal menus.
We are even prouder of the fact that we have
produced on site many of the ingredients that
we use in our cooking from fresh eggs laid daily
by our BarnYard chickens to our own BarnYard
apple or pear juice, pressed and bottled directly
from our own award-winning orchards.
Our chefs take pride in the food they prepare
and use a lot of the ingredients from our
specialist artisan farm shop in their cooking.

your own cheese from our extensively
stocked deli counter to have served with your
ploughman’s lunch in our restaurant.
Order a slice of homemade quiche knowing that
the eggs used have come directly from our own
BarnYard chickens. With your lunch, why not
choose a refreshing glass of summer Pimms
with apples harvested from our own orchards
and mint taken from our on-site herb garden.
Our extremely popular and very scrumptious
homemade cakes and scones are available every
day and include favourites such as Victoria
sponge, coffee and walnut, and chocolate
fudge. Why not come along for an afternoon tea
to have alfresco on our beautiful patio or treat
yourself and book our special High Tea menu?
A lot of what we serve in our restaurant is
available to purchase in our fantastic farm shop.
