The Brasserie on The Bay
at Prince’s Golf Club
We would like to warmly welcome you to
dine with us at The Brasserie on The Bay in
the spectacular setting of Prince’s Golf Club,
Sandwich. The Lodge at Prince’s overlooks the
natural beauty of Sandwich Bay and the National
Nature Reserves of Pegwell. Our 2 AA Rosette
restaurant is located in The Lodge, which is
adjacent to the famous Championship Links
Golf Course. A genuinely warm welcome awaits
when passing through the doors to The Lodge.
The Brasserie on The Bay’s head chef, Ricky
Smith, prides himself on using high quality,
locally sourced food to produce his creative
and appealing menus, which change to
accommodate new seasons. For example,
autumn is the season of game. A speciality that
features on our menu is Chart Farm venison
cannon with sticky ribs, chanterelle mushrooms,
salt-baked celeriac purée and venison jus. Diners
will enjoy the contemporary feel of The Lodge
at Prince’s, in the cosiest seat in front of the log
burner, anticipating the wonderful menu while
savouring chef’s selection of canapes. During
the summer months, there is an option to enjoy
the sunny terrace for early evening drinks, while
watching the sun set over the golf course.
Guests can also stay overnight at The Lodge,
which has 38 spacious ensuite bedrooms
including two premium lavish ‘Bay’ and ‘Links’
suites. All rooms have beautiful views of
either the bay, or the golf course. The Lodge at
Prince’s offers a wide range of modern luxuries
to make every guest’s stay as enjoyable as
possible and suitable for their needs. These
facilities include free Wi-Fi and parking. Our
2AA Rosette restaurant linked to The Lodge
allows the guests an opportunity to relax and
enjoy our freshly cooked food. Breakfast – the
most important meal of the day – is served
at The Lodge. We have a delightful Kentish
breakfast featuring locally sourced sausages
and bacon from Preston Butchers.
The Brasserie on The Bay also offers afternoon
tea: a beautiful selection of sandwiches, scones,
cakes and pastries, all served with a choice
of tea and coffee. There is also the option of
having a ‘sparkling afternoon’ with a Westwell
sparkling wine; a wonderful Kentish wine.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner, seven days a week. Reservations are
recommended.
