Auditions for dancers, aged between 8 and 17, take place on Saturday 8th September 2018 at the Brook Theatre, Chatham. Those selected will join the star-studded cast which includes star of stage and screen, Ray Quinn, in the title role alongside returning favourites Joe Tracini (Hollyoaks, CBBC’s The Dengineers) as Idle Jack and Ian Good as Sarah the Cook. The cast is completed by West End star Steven Serlin as the evil King Rat, Jessica Croll as Alice plus Dick Whittington’s fabulous feline friend! Years later, Kipps is working as an apprentice in a draper’s shop in Folkestone. Ann arrives in the town, looking for him. They meet and re-kindle their childhood friendship.
