CHEGWORTH VALLEY
Biddenden , Kent ’ s original commercial vineyard , is owned and managed independently by the Barnes family . Today the single estate vineyard spans 23 acres of gentle south facing slopes situated in a sheltered valley , just outside the picturesque Wealden village of Biddenden . 11 different grape varieties are grown to produce its array of award-winning White , Rosé , Red and Sparkling English wines .
Biddenden also produces a great selection of ciders and juices . Crafted using the Barnes ’ family recipe , Biddenden ’ s ciders are made from carefully selected , locally sourced culinary and dessert apples giving the cider a more wine like style . Biddenden ’ s much loved , classic , farmpressed apple and pear juices are naturally full of sweetness and with no added sugar .
Visitors are welcome to stroll around the vineyard , with tastings available in the shop which is open daily and also stocks a selection of local and regional produce . Biddenden offers Charity Guided Tours on Saturday mornings all year and Wednesday mornings June to September . Private guided tours can be booked in advance . Biddenden hosts its annual ‘ Taste the Best of Produced in Kent ’ food day on the second Sunday every June and its Christmas Shop is open from the beginning of November to Christmas Eve .

Chegworth Valley is a family owned and run organic farm situated in the heart of the Kent countryside near Harrietsham .
Established in 1983 by David and Linda Deme and with the second generation now fully involved , the farm covers over 200 acres planted with a wide variety of apples and pears , soft fruit , vegetables and salads .
Chegworth Valley ’ s award-winning range of juices are also made on the farm using hand selected fruit which is often pressed within hours of being picked .
The juice is pressed in small batches , every one of which is taste-tested by a member family to ensure the best flavour and quality possible .
As well as having two London shops and a farm gate shop which is open seasonally , Chegworth Valley offers next day home delivery of their produce and juices , including fruit and vegetable boxes throughout the whole of Kent and London .
