Corner House Minster opened in 2013 and after a successful three years , Corner House Canterbury ’ s doors opened on 1st July 2016 . Owner and restauranteur Matt Sworder believes in simple food cooked really and is passionate in every element of the guest experience and it is exactly what you can expect when you visit !

Situated in the picturesque village of Minster , the critically acclaimed Corner House Minster has won the title Kent Restaurant of the Year , recommended in the Michelin Guide and featured in Waitrose Good Food Guide . The 50-cover restaurant is both intimate and cosy with the added extra of having two beautiful en suite guest rooms where you can stay the night ! The kitchen is run by head chef Predrag Kostic who takes enormous pride in the quality of ingredients and ensuring that your visit is one to remember .
Residing in the 16th-century former coach house overlooking the city walls , the restaurant was newly refurbished last year . It is both stylish and contemporary while retaining the original character of this historic building and it boasts three wonderfully quirky guest bedrooms . Headed up by head chef Mark Cragg , the attention to detail and clean cooking make it already one of the most popular restaurants in the busy city .
