AND WILL HAVE A VARIETY OF FREE ACTIVITIES
INCLUDED IN THEIR TICKET PRICES TO KEEP THE
YOUNG ONES ENTERTAINED THIS HALLOWEEN
HALF TERM. PASSENGERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO
COME DRESSED AS WIZARDS OR WITCHES FOR
SPELLBINDING ADVENTURES.
Enjoy a train ride from Tenterden to Bodiam
with on-train Halloween-themed craft
activities for the children to complete. At
Bodiam station there will be ‘Bugs and Beasts’
for viewing, accompanied by talks about these
fascinating creatures and there will be an
opportunity for handling some of them for a
lucky few! At Tenterden station there will be
face painting and magic shows throughout
the day.
On-train catering and wheelchair access is
available on the 10.40am, 1:15pm and 3.35pm
departures. Pre-order lunch, munchboxes or
cream tea options to take advantage of
onboard refreshments.
The magical Bodiam Castle is a short walk
from Bodiam station. Presenting a valid train
ticket at their booking office also entitles
passengers to discounted entry to the castle.
The Station Refreshment Rooms at Tenterden
will be offering plenty of tasty options
including hot and cold lunches and afternoon
tea (prebook).
Free admission to the award-winning Colonel
Stephens Museum at Tenterden is included

with train tickets too; there is also free parking
at Tenterden and Northiam stations.
TravelCards are valid for unlimited travel on
the day of your visit (Monday to Sunday). A
Family Travelcard is great value at just £38 for
two adults and up to three children (aged
between 3 and 15 years). Children under 3
travel free with paying adults.
FRIGHT NIGHT EXPRESS ON FRIDAY
26TH OCTOBER 2018
Visit the railway from 5pm in your spooky
finery to enjoy pumpkin carving, face painting,
fun in the photo booth and purchase a hot
snack from the station restaurant.
Be entertained by the beats of the Drumskullz
alongside a display by the live firebreather
before boarding the train for a 7pm departure.
On board the train, children will receive a
munchbox for the journey and the whole
family will be entertained by a magician.
Upon arrival at Northiam station, there will be
a firework display before departure for the
return journey to Tenterden. The train arrives
back at Tenterden at approximately 8.45pm;
there is free parking at Tenterden station.
Fares for Fright Night are £18 inclusive per
person – adults and children (aged 3-15) and
tickets must be booked in advance. Visit

Admission prices include all-day travel

Save 10 per cent when buying tickets
online before 1st October. Adults £16.20;
