THIS CHRISTMAS!
See the classic fairytale come to life this
December as Cinderella – Charlotte Haines –
transforms from rags to riches, outwits her
very ugly sisters, and, with the help of her
hilarious friend Buttons – Phil Reid – and one
very magical Fairy Godmother – Lesley Joseph
– wins the heart of the dashing Prince
Charming.
Nearly 40 ,000 theatregoers attended the
Churchill Theatre’s pantomime last year,
making it the most successful ever, and this
year’s show looks set to break a new record.
Regarded as the jewel in the festive season’s
crown, Cinderella will be packed full of magic,
audience participation and fun for all the
family.
Behind the theatre’s spectacular annual
pantomime, which is enjoyed by audiences
of all ages are Qdos Entertainment. Executive
producer, Jonathan Kiley commented on
having such an iconic actress taking on the
role of the Fairy Godmother this year: “Lesley
Joseph is an absolute star in the world of
pantomime, with fabulous comic timing, an
array of fantastic costumes and sheer,
unadulterated stage presence making her the
perfect Fairy Godmother for Cinderella at the
Churchill Theatre.”

The much-loved actress and broadcaster is
best known for playing man-eater Dorien
Green in the sitcom Birds of a Feather, and
has had an illustrious stage career, appearing
recently as Frau Blücher in Mel Brooks’ Young
Frankenstein in the West End. Churchill
Theatre director, Chris Glover added: “We are
delighted to have Lesley Joseph as our Fairy
Godmother in Cinderella at the Churchill
Theatre this festive season.”

audiences have come to expect: a fabulous
cast and orchestra, laugh-out-loud comedy,
stunning scenery and special effects, beautiful
costumes and plenty of boos and hisses for
all the family to enjoy.
