Nearly 40 ,000 theatregoers attended the Churchill Theatre’s pantomime last year, making it the most successful ever, and this year’s show looks set to break a new record. Regarded as the jewel in the festive season’s crown, Cinderella will be packed full of magic, audience participation and fun for all the family. Behind the theatre’s spectacular annual pantomime, which is enjoyed by audiences of all ages are Qdos Entertainment. Executive producer, Jonathan Kiley commented on having such an iconic actress taking on the role of the Fairy Godmother this year: “Lesley Joseph is an absolute star in the world of pantomime, with fabulous comic timing, an array of fantastic costumes and sheer, unadulterated stage presence making her the perfect Fairy Godmother for Cinderella at the Churchill Theatre.” 34 The much-loved actress and broadcaster is best known for playing man-eater Dorien Green in the sitcom Birds of a Feather, and has had an illustrious stage career, appearing recently as Frau Blücher in Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein in the West End.
