What is greatness and how do you define
someone who is ‘great’? Life can be unpredictable and sometimes
things happen that are beyond our control.
But we are not defined by our circumstances
and in Christ there is always hope. The
Winning Women Convention is an opportunity
that thousands of women value, as it’s a time
when like-minded women can come together
to be encouraged, inspired, refreshed and
enjoy time out together. Everyone really looks forward to the Saturday
during the Convention and this year is no
exception! This year’s event will be the
Winning Women T-shirt Day. You can be
a part of this exciting all day event which
features workshops, pop-up stalls, networking
activities, group discussions, and a Q&A
with our panel of guest speakers. Light
refreshments will be provided. We are going
to have a great time together. It’s an invaluable
opportunity to relax, learn, re-establish
friendships and make new friends and
connections.
The truth is that greatness is not limited
to status.
Greatness is an inner quality. It is the
essence of who you are.
Greatness is not limited to your sphere of
influence, whether you are a teacher, a mother,
a student, or a single parent. Greatness is
beyond your career, the possessions you
have, and the expression of your gifts and
talents. It is even beyond your followers on
Instagram, your likes on Facebook and your
responses on Twitter.
Greatness is many attributes, including
the ability to touch others and make an
unforgettable impact on both current
and future generations.
Our guest speakers are women who
demonstrate Godly greatness in their lives and
endeavours. These women will take the time to
share how you can manifest the greatness that
is already inside you.
This year’s four-day event will feature
something for women of all ages and stages
of life.
To make a difference in our community we
endeavour to raise funds for a local charity.
Last year we supported Maidstone Hospital.
This year we want to raise funds for the Kent
Ambulance service.
So, what are you waiting for? Book some time
off and bring your friends and family. It’s time
to discover and release the greatness in you.
In fact, Greatness is within us already and at
this year’s Winning Women Convention we will
be exploring what “Made for Greatness” means.

Yemisi Ashimolowo is the Resident
Pastor of Kingsway International Christian
Centre (KICC) and the President of
KICC’s Winning Women Ministry. As the
Head of the Women’s ministry, Yemisi
fulfils her passion to provide counsel
and empowerment programmes to help
women reach their full potential.
It’s free to attend the
Winning Women Convention,

2018 at KICC Prayer City, Buckmore Park,
Maidstone Road, Chatham Kent, ME5 9QG
Thursday 15th 6.30pm | Friday 16th 10am,
2pm, 6.30pm | Saturday 17th 10am & 6.30pm
Sunday 18th 10am and 6pm
A free return shuttle service will be operating
from Maidstone, Chatham and Gillingham.
