THE WEALD OF KENT COUNTRY CRAFT SHOW WILL TRANSFORM THE GROUNDS OF
PENSHURST PLACE FROM 5TH–7TH MAY. HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS
QUINTESSENTIALLY BRITISH EVENT.
As true British days out go, you can’t get much
more refined than the Weald of Kent Country
Craft Show. From artisan crafts – think
beautiful pottery, hand-crafted garden
sculptures and exquisite jewellery – to kids’
activities, it’s very much a family affair.
This outdoor show is set against the majestic
backdrop of stately home, Penshurst Place
and is the perfect excuse to get out and
celebrate spring over the early May Bank
Holiday from 5th–7th May 2018. Known as
one of the most prestigious craft shows in the
country, it features over 150 exhibitors with
exquisite items for the home and garden, from
handmade furniture to unique clothing.
FOODIE’S DELIGHT
This event isn’t just about the crafts. There’s a
full day out with artisan food and drink, vintage
style children’s rides and rural craft demos.
Live music from close harmony group The
Haywood Sisters and Crooked Style, a two-
piece country folk guitar group, complete the
festival atmosphere.
Foodies can follow their noses to the food and
drink village serving up freshly cooked food
– from handcrafted pizza and hog roast to
Thai. Bring your resuable bags to stock up on
store cupboard treats from regional producers
selling cheeses, preserves, chutneys, fudge,
sauces and a range of drinks.
FAMILY FUN
Creative workshops, from chocolate making
to pottery, along with dazzling falconry
displays, terrier racing and an outside play
area should satisfy even the most active of
families. This gentle day out is a beautifully
relaxed way to celebrate the magic of spring.

a lead, unfortunately they cannot enter the
kids play areas or the food tent.
