Folkestone town CounCil Armed ForCes Community Fun dAy the leas Cliff Hall, leas Band stand and Arena Area, Folkestone Ct20 2Xl sunday 1 st July at 11am-5pm The event starting at 11am at the Leas Bandstand is FREE for families and communities with the Armed Forces Day message and recognition of Service Personnel, Veteran and Cadets, past, present and future the main focus. The MOD fully supports and has contributed funding to deliver this event. THE DAY’S PROGRAMME IS AS FOLLOWS; • Imps Motorcycle Display Team • Band of Corps of Royal Engineers • Blue Falcons Gymnastic Display Team • Andrews Sisters Tribute Act • Lindy Hoppers WW1 Themed Dance Act • The Silhouette Show - Female Vocal and Dance WW1 Tribute Act • Tug ‘o’ War Cadets Competition • School Choirs and Drama Performances • Kent Military Community Choir There will be a small Childrens Funfair and static displays including; SSAFA, Royal British Legion, RNLI, BLESMA, The Gurkha Memorial Fund, War and Peace Display team, Great War Trench Experience, and Military Vehicles Please see www.folkestonetc.kentparishes.gov .uk for more details
