WIN TICKETS TO THE KENT COUNTY SHOW
THE KENT COUNTY SHOW ON THE 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH JULY 2018 WILL BE HOSTING THE
SPECTACULAR HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY MUSICAL RIDE FOR THIS YEAR’S MAIN RING ATTRACTION
ALONGSIDE THE TRADITIONAL ANIMALS, FOOD HALLS, FLOWER SHOW AND SHOW JUMPING.
The spectacular Household Cavalry are
steeped in tradition and will perform at the
Kent County Show dressed in full state
ceremonial uniforms. The performance will
demonstrate the regiment’s precise battlefield
and ceremonial manoeuvres all carried out to
music. The display will demonstrate the
rigorous training, precision and excellence of
the world’s only combat serving mounted
ceremonial soldiers.
There is a large cast of other attractions
featuring at the 2018 Kent County Show
including a display from the ‘Spirit of Kent’
Win
Spitfire, pig racing and entertainment from a
pair of Hedge Men.
New for 2018 will be the Enterprise Zone and
Keep it Local craft marquee. The Enterprise
Zone will feature ten Kent-based companies
that have been running for less than a year.
Each has received a free trade stand to help
them increase exposure for their company.
Products and services include handmade
textiles and placemats, silk flowers, accessories
for babies, a local artist and photographer, bees
wax products, an entertainment agency, and
specially designed t-shirts for breastfeeding
mums and children with autism.
Regular showgowers will be delighted to hear
that the Garden Life marquee has a new
location next to the Main Gate and will feature
a special display of over 10,000 hand crafted
poppies created by the local community to
commemorate 100 years since the end of the
First World War.
Organisers of the show, the Kent County
Agricultural Society, look forward to
welcoming visitors on 6th, 7th and 8th July
for the 89th Kent County Show.
