The International smash hit Spirit of the Dance
celebrates its record-breaking 20-year
anniversary as one of the most successful dance
shows ever. Seen by more than thirty million
people in twenty countries around the world,
Spirit of the Dance is winner of nine Global Awards,
including Best Choreography and Best
International Production. Irish in origin and
bursting with raw energy, this explosive and
powerful show combines heart-pounding Irish
Dance with the sensual Latino rhythms of
Flamenco and Red Hot Salsa in a thrilling
production of strength and passion. Learn how to restore and maintain trees, both
apples and pears, that have ‘got away’. The aim
of winter pruning is to establish the basic
structure of the tree, reduce overcrowding,
encourage it to make new growth in a controlled
way and produce fewer, larger fruit from
healthier, well-pruned trees. These trees will
then be compared with trees where the
renovation pruning has been commenced to see
how progress develops. There will be plenty of
opportunity for you to get up close and personal
with the target trees and gain valuable hands-
on experience of the whole pruning process.

Following a sold-out run at The Marlowe Theatre in 2017,
the National Theatre’s acclaimed play War Horse returns to
Canterbury from Wed 27th February – Sat 16th March.
Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this
powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring
music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At
its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by Handspring
Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging
horses to life.
