Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of a wing walk and
take to the skies in support of families facing terminal illness.
Once strapped into the harness, you'll take off for a 10-minute
experience that will include zooms and climbs at speeds of
up to 130mph. Standard registration is £100 with a minimum
sponsorship of £1,000, and self-funded registration is £380
with a minimum sponsorship of £670. The Tonbridge Triathlon is a staple in many people’s diaries
now; it is the chance to raise money for your chosen worthwhile
cause whilst also proving to yourself that you can take on a
mighty challenge. The immensely popular Tonbridge Triathlon
is perfect for tri-athletes of all abilities. You can either enter
the sprint distance or standard distance individually or enter
as a team of three to do the sprint distance as a r elay. This
fantastic event gives you the chance to swim in an a ward-
winning indoor pool, cy cle thr ough the beautiful K ent
countryside and run on the r enowned Tonbridge school
running track.

run the iconic London Mara thon? Although the ballot has
ended for 2019, if you already have a place you could consider
doing something for charity, just like Jo Cresswell, the manager
of the New Romney branch of Last Chance Animal Rescue,
is doing. She is running the London Mara thon in aid
of her c harity dressed in a dog costume – go along and
cheer her on, and if you were too la te for this year, make
sure you sign up f or next year and make some mone y for
good causes.

Heart of Kent Hospice is bringing the style and glamour of
1930’s steam tra vel to K ent with an e xclusive trip on the
magnificent Northern Belle. A b lack class-5 steam special
locomotive will transport passengers back to a golden age of
travel as they enjoy Champagne and canapés, followed by an
exquisite four-course meal pr epared from locally sour ced
organic Kent produce accompanied by a carefully selected
bottle of fine wine. Lunch will include a British cheeseboard,
biscuits and chutneys and will be rounded off with coffee and
petit fours. The trip takes place on Saturday 11th May 2019,
departing from Maidstone East at 12.30pm and returning at
around 5pm. Dress code is smart daywear. Tickets are priced
at £349 per person.
