The promised land of summer sun awaits, but first you
have to survive the journey...with kids! straighteners and full-size toiletries – then invest in some
packing cubes.
Here are our top tips to make travelling with the
family easier: By allocating one colour per family member and different
cubes for day wear, evening wear, beach clothes, shoes and
toiletries, it becomes easy to share suitcases and identify each
person’s items on arrival. It also makes unpacking super fast
and easy as clothing can be left in cubes and slotted into
drawers or wardrobes, or unpacked completely freeing up
the cubes to easily separate dirty washing from clean clothes
on the way home.
1. Make packing stress-free
Avoid the curse of overpacking. Seven pairs of shoes for a
three-day trip? A change of clothes mid-day just in case? Just
one more beach towel? Make a list of essential clothing for
each day, and then check what’s provided at your resort –
most have hairdryers and pool towels, some even offer hair
