Respectively they present a kaleidoscopic history of scientific breakthroughs in India and a unique photographic survey

Shepard and the factors contributing to the phenomenal success and enduring popularity of Winnie the Pooh . Designed for both children and adults , visitors will be led on a multi-sensory journey to rediscover these classic books such as discovering language as a child , and inspiring creativity with drawing . Highlights include the real-life personalities and relationships that created Pooh , including Christopher Robin ’ s makebelieve with his toys and the collaboration between the genius of Milne as author and Shepard as talented illustrator .

This exhibition will include everyday objects relating to world faiths , traditional indigenous , archaeological and modern civil practices . It will include intriguing pieces from the end of the last Ice Age that depict beings that do not exist in nature , to familiar objects of everyday practices of all periods – including a remarkable 18thcentury replica of a Hindu ceremonial chariot of the kind pulled from a temple to reveal deities during festivals , posters relating to Soviet scientific atheism , and a Chinese badge celebrating ‘ Mao ’ s mangoes ’ in an extraordinary example of 20thcentury veneration .
