Shop, Eat and have Fun... at the Best Christmas Ever on Herne Bay Pier From bleak tarmac to vibrant venue in 4 years, Herne Bay Pier is fast becoming a major visitor attraction in Kent with something to delight all ages and pockets. We now have over 30 retail outlets selling quality gifts, clothes, food, master craftsman’s jewellery, toys and many other quirky and quality goods. The covered food plaza offers Thai, Pizza, Seafood, Gourmet Burgers, Vegan Snacks and traditional Fish and Chips. Every Saturday and Sunday throughout December we are adding even more attractions for Christmas by hosting a farmers' market for cheeses, crafts, meats, jars and other goodies. We plan to surprise you with a 12 foot snow globe, lots of entertainment, a Santa's Grotto and ….on the final Saturday, the live reindeer will be coming for the third year to delight the children. Our new stage will have been completed with shell-shaped roof by December and visitors will be entertained by performers and musicians including the Kent School of Performing Arts.
