Do you have any events coming up? By the time this article is published we will have held our biggest event to date – Harmony in the Park – held at UKP Pavilion in Sittingbourne, a great free family fun day out. We are busy planning our second Sanctuary Day on Saturday 16th September at Holm Place Farm Fishing Lakes, where we will provide a free day to all past patients, their families and carers, our therapists, volunteers and supporters as a thank you for being part of what makes Harmony the success it is. We have support from Tesco/Groundworks Bags of Help to pay for this event and will be providing a BBQ buffet, motivational speaker, a choir, taster treatments, art, a cooking continues for many more years to come. We look to expand our trustee base, our knowledge and continued recognition that emotional support into wellness and wellbeing or palliative care is an essential part of integrated healthcare outcomes. demonstration and the opportunity to learn the gentle therapeutic art of fishing. What does the future hold? Having recently become a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) we face our eighth year of work with an ever-increasing volume of referrals. Since inception we have helped over 1,600 NHS referrals and this year will see the highest annual referrals (maybe over 750) as more health care suppliers learn of our work in this field. We will always need continued funding to meet that challenge and our volunteers, trustees and supporters work tirelessly to that end. However, we want to net that “big pot” of funding from the National Lottery as well as other charitable grant foundations, in order to ensure our vital work .WTSM[\WVM0a\PM7XMZI\QK,ZIUI\QK;WKQM\a Presents December 14 th th >IZQW][;PW_[I\XUXU *W`7‫ٻ‬KM! or online at Tickets £15.00, concessions £14.00 and children u14 £10.00 THE TOWER THEATRE The Tower Theatre, North Road, ;PWZVKTQ‫ٺ‬M.WTSM[\WVM+<04 Registered Charity: 1001311 FOLKESTONE-HYTHE OPERATIC & DRAMATIC SOCIETY 163
