Comedy nights are held every month at EM Forster Theatre Tonbridge
The EM Forster Theatre at
Tonbridge School is ‘a hidden
gem in the heart of Tonbridge’
offering an extensive and varied
programme of theatre, comedy,
music, children’s shows, talks and
NT Live broadcasts. Theatre
highlights this autumn include a
dark and thrilling adaptation of
The Strange Case of Dr Jekyl & Mr
Hyde, a humorous and heartfelt
hit from the Edinburgh Festival
Team Viking, The Tempest
performed by artists from Africa
and Europe, featuring stunning
contemporary African
choreography, and high energy
physical theatre Fall Out exploring
teenager’s questions about
happiness.
As ever there are several shows
for families including a musical
adaptation of the hugely popular
Shark In The Park books and for
50
older children magical theatrical
storytelling in King Arthur.
Monthly comedy is provided by
some of the best comedians on
the circuit in the studio space and
there are live broadcasts of
outstanding National Theatre
shows. This Christmas we are
delighted to welcome back
Wicked Productions with Aladdin,
a spectacular laugh out loud
pantomime for the whole family.
