BELMONT WOODFEST & COUNTRY FAIR // 9-10 SEP
TWILIGHT WALK // 15 SEP
Join ellenor for another evening of camaraderie and fun; a fantastic
evening for all the family. Whether you are walking in memory of a
loved one or looking for a challenge with some friends you will be
raising valuable funds for ellenor. The walk begins from the Cyclopark
in Gravesend with the choice of two routes – either 8km or 12km. Both
will start with one loop round the Cyclopark before heading out through
Gravesend in a circular route. All Twilight Walk participants will receive
a Twilight Walk t-shirt, goody bag and finishing medal. The walk will
start with a mass participation warm up and there will be pit stops along
the way. You will then receive hot chocolate, a snack and goodie bag
to reward you for your efforts on your return.

After a successful event last year, the Woodfest and Country Fair is
back! Woodland demonstrations include pole-lathe turning, chainsaw
carving, basket making, wood turning, horse logging, hurdle making,
bushcraft and more. In the arena this year there will be Xtreme Falconry,
Hurst Green Shires, terrier racing, dog and duck display and ferret
racing. Why not try ‘have a go’ at archery or perhaps on the climbing
wall. The ‘Keep it Local’ marquee will be there, where you will find a
selection of arts, crafts and gifts as well as variety of locally produced
food and drink stalls. There will be live music throughout the day for
you to enjoy too.
