EDUCATION
IN ASSOCIATION WITH
OUTSTANDING NURSERY AT BISHOP CHALLONER SCHOOL
OUR NURSERY SCHOOL IS A HAPPY AND INVITING PLACE, ALLOWING CHILDREN FROM RISING 3S – 4 1/2
YEARS TO DEVELOP SKILLS AND MAKE PROGRESS ACROSS ALL THE AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING
IN A CARING, FRIENDLY AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT.
The overall aim of the nursery is to encourage
good social skills, an enthusiastic approach to
work with a real sense of fun and a desire to
learn. A variety of good quality educational
resources is an essential part of the learning
experience because children learn most
effectively through play. As children progress
through the nursery school, the children are
encouraged and supported in developing their
independence skills along with a more
structured routine, in preparation for life in
Reception class.
