will host festive fun
with Father Christmas
in a very special time
travelling adventure
for children. Magical
Medieval Christmas
sees Santa Claus
transported back in
time to the Middle
Ages. It’s up to some budding young adventurers to save Santa and
bring him back to 2018 in time for Christmas! Families are guided
through a series of festive activities on the medieval streets of The
Canterbury Tales visitor attraction. There will be songs, games and
dressing up! Their journey ends with a visit to Santa’s grotto and a gift
for every child.

The festive Big Top circus is free with admission to Groombridge Place
and there will be four thrilling Christmas-themed family performances
each day. Everyone can share in a truly memorable seasonal experience
with audiences of all ages being dazzled by amazing international
performers including acrobats, aerialists and other speciality acts. The
all-weather heated big top has state-of-the-art sound and lighting
technology and seats up to 600 people. Each colourful performance
lasts one hour.
