ALICE IN WONDERLAND // 6-7 APR
THIS IS PSYCHEDELIA // 7 APR
After last year's first ever Psychedelic Festival, the co-founders of Lewes
Psychedelic Festival return to Folkestone for a second year bringing
you a spectrum of creative artists all under the umbrella term of the
sonic worlds of psychedelia. Featuring five profiled psych artists covering
a cross of genres with visuals turning the venue into a warm, light-
projected womb. The lineup includes Canterbury’s Dreamweaver, with
their dreamy lo-fi pop diluted with a heavy dose of psych; east London's
art-wave collective Snapped Ankles, who draw on the power and groove
of krautrock and post punk; rare psych gem, Cobalt Chapel who meld
folk and vintage organ; Flamingods, a multi-instrumental, multicultural
four piece who combine dance, psych and folk into beguiling
psychedelic wig-outs; and much-loved cult Malmo trio, Death and
Vanilla with their eerie, haunting ambient-noir pop.
6.30pm. Price: £17.50 (£21.50 on the door)
