INSIDE FANTASY

LEAVE 'EM

Cam Newton - Carolina Panthers - QB

The game against the Vikings last week was not a high passing offense game, with both QBs throwing for under 200 yards. Newton has struggled with interceptions of late, having 6 in his last 3 games, to just 5 touchdowns. He finds himself in a crucial divisional match up this week against the saints. These 2 teams met earlier this year in week 9, where newton threw for just 151 yards and completed just 10 of his 28 pass attempts. He also had 1 pick and a fumble loss to go with those numbers. My projection for him this week is 12 fantasy points.

Ryan Mathews - San Diego Chargers - RB

Mathews is coming off back to back games with a touchdown, but still only managed 40 rushing yards from his 13 carries last week against the Ravens. He finds himself with a tough matchup this week against the Patriots, who lead the league in allowing the fewest rushing touchdowns this season. My projection for Mathews is 7.50 fantasy points this week.

Jeremy Maclin - Philadelphia Eagles - WR

Maclin hasn’t been as productive in the second half of the season with the change at quarterback. Since Mark Sanchez has taken over from Nick Foles, Maclin’s numbers have dropped noticeably. He has only recorded 1 touchdown and 1 game over 100 yards since the change of quarterbacks. He will find it hard to come by large numbers this week against the Seattle secondary, who are allowing just over 200 passing yards a game. My projection for him this week is 6 fantasy points.
