RAVENS @ DOLHPINS

This game brings us one team who blew a huge opportunity against the Saints on the weekend to stay well and truly in the hunt for the AFC North title and now look possibly too far back to regain what Cincinnati have on them! And the Miami Dolphins after a tough loss to the Broncos in Week 12 back up with a shaky last minute interception win against the shocking New York Jets but yet still sit 7-5 and are in the hunt for a playoff berth.

Baltimore at one point in my opinion were the pick of the AFC North teams in what has been an unbelievably competitive division this year, but after the loss last week to the Saints, almost rules them out of the division with a 2-3 record but still remain hopeully of gaining an AFC Wildcard spot. Running Back Justin Forsett has been fantastic for the Baltimore Ravens this season since Ray Rice was deactivated from the Ravens roster, Forsett, 29, in his 7th season has 1,009 rushing yards, 7 touchdowns at 5.6 yards a carry.

The Baltimore defense packs a punch and has been solid for most of the season though it can be improved. Elvis Dumervil is having a productive season for the Ravens defense with 12.5 sacks and a forced fumble to date, Dumervil's 12.5 sacks is 2nd overall in the league so far.

Miami sit 2 games above .500 and are one team in the NFL that are hard to get a

grasp of how good they can be because the difference between their best and worst is massive, so far this year there is more good than bad to talk about though. Third year running back Lamar Miller is having a career year thus far for the Dolphins rushing for 729 yards, 6 TD's and 4.9 yards a carry which has been a major factor in how the Dolphins running attack, which has lacked since Reggie Bush left, is back and helping them win games.

There are two players who you can highlight on Miami's defense that have stood out this year, Defensive End Cam Wake and Cornerback Brent Grimes, have been the two shining lights for Miami's stout defense. Grimes has 5 interceptions this season and Wake (9.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles) has been a menace on the Dolphins defensive line.

Both teams have a lot to play for in this game and both are extremely hard to split in terms of who has the edge. Offensively Baltimore look more threatening but the secondary and defensive line of Miami has been I think the reason they are winning games consistently this season. I'm going with the home team in a very close and great football game.

MIAMI by 3.
