DOVIZIOSO REPELS MARQUEZ FOR
THE WIN AT THE SEASON OPENER
MOTO GP 2018 - SEASON
OPENER, QATAR, LOSAIL
The long wait is over, Moto GP is back
too! Brand new bikes a motivated
Marquez and Rossi, a hungry Dovizioso
and Vinales, everything is set for an
awesome season. Losail is traditionally
the opener round of the championship for
many years now, and to be
even more
spectacleular
it became a night
race! After an exciting Moto 3 and
Moto 2 races, it was the “big guys turn”
to put excitement to it’s peak! Zarco
started from the Pole and maintained
the Lead for more than half distance. At
the end of a longer pacing period, Zarco
fell back, while Dovizioso and Marquez
switched gears and started to increase
the pace lap by lap. Rossi tried to keep up
with them at 3rd place with no success.
Dovizioso and Marquez had their own
battle for the win, the last 2 laps were
really intense, but in the end, Dovizioso
took the win, after repelling Marquez
who tried everything to
overtake the
Ducati.
The
2018
Moto GP
Season
continues where the
2017 ended: Ducati vs. Honda, Dovizioso
vs. Marquez, but Rossi and Vinales were
really promising on the Yamaha, I do
hope that they will enter the Title Hunt
as soon as it’s possible!
