Dear Insaan Social Investors,
On September 25th 2015, UN member states adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.
These 17 Sustainable Development Goals, known as SDGs, specify targets to be achieved by 2030.
This is a collective global project: beyond governments and corporations, involving civil society and individuals of any age, nationality or income level.
Through your support and engagement with Insaan, you are doing your part to build a more sustainable and equitable world.
As we transition to the Summer, I wanted us to be reminded that while our contribution is modest, as all is relative, it continues to be paramount, relevant, timely, urgent.
Together, through Insaan, we are part of a greater narrative for building a different kind of world and planet – the world we want to live in, the world we want to bequeath to our children and grandchildren. Let’s build it.
